About Us

Windsurfing Center Premantura Premantura was founded in 2000. The Center, which started as a windsurfing school and bicycle rental spot, has not stopped developing since its beginning. Over the years, we have developed into a windsurfing center which is well stocked with both school and rental boards. Likewise, from the initial 6, we now rent more than 100 mountain bikes of various dimensions and quality. In time, we have expanded our services which now also include sea kayaks and stand up paddle boards for rent. We have about thirty kayaks and a dozen stand up paddle boards. We also offer organized mountain bike and sea kayak excursions. We offer several options, from excursions with large groups for over 15 participants to special excursions for up to 6 persons. The staff of our Center are qualified and well experienced in performing of all the activities that our Center offers. Our centers are located in Premantura. MORE..

We have about 30 kayaks, most of them doubles, and 4 single kayaks. Kayaks are mostly Italian EXO KAYAKS but we also have several OCEAN KAYAKS.
Kayaks are available for individual rentals or for organized excursions.

Bicycles can be rented both individually or in an organized excursion. We rent bicycles at two locations: in Premantura on the road to the Arena Stupice Campsite, near house number 63 and opposite the Surf Bar andat the Arena Stupice Campsite. We offer several sizes and qualities of bicycles.

We offer snorkeling for groups. This activity is usually included in a kayak excursion, but we also offer it as a stand-alone activity. We can snorkel anywhere on the coast. The price includes wetsuits, snorkeling equipment, guides, fruit and water.

For beginners we use AHD boards of 170, 190 and 230 liters and mostly NAUTIX Dacron sails in dimensions ranging from 1.5 to 6.0 square meters.
For advanced schools we use AHD Fast Forward boards of 130, 145 and 160 liters and the Italian manufactured CHALLENGER SAILS in dimensions ranging from 4.7 to 7.5 square meters.

EXCURSION GUIDE

The half-day kayak excursion has two departure times: at 09:00 h and at 13:00 h. Excursions by kayak must be booked at least one day in advance. The excursion begins and ends at the Arena Stupice Campsite in Premantura. It includes snorkeling in the waters surrounding the beautiful and secluded beaches of the islands and bays of the Nature Park Kamenjak. The time spent snorkeling depends on the participants’ wishes and, of course, on the sea temperature and the season. Participants visit at least two uninhabited islands and learn about the Medulin archipelago’s marine flora and fauna. The pace of the excursion is decided by the guide with the aim to make this a safe and practicable experience for everyone present.

The full day kayak excursion begins at 09:00 h. Excursions by kayak must be booked at least one day in advance. The excursion begins and ends at the Arena Stupice Campsite in Premantura. It includes snorkeling in the waters surrounding the beautiful and secluded beaches of the islands and bays of the Nature Park Kamenjak. The time spent snorkeling depends on the participants’ wishes and, of course, on the sea temperature and the season. Participants visit at least two uninhabited islands, the Velika Kolumbarica cave, the island of Fenoliga with the dinosaur footprints, and learn about the marine flora and fauna of the Medulin archipelago. Lunch is organized at the Safari Bar. The pace of the excursion is decided by the guide with the aim to make this a safe and practicable experience for everyone present.

The guided kayak excursion to the coastal caves starts at 9h and at 14:30h and lasts approximately 5 hours. The tour must be booked at least one day in advance. The place of departure and return is the campsite of Stupice in Premantura. The excursion includes snorkelling on the beautiful beaches of secluded islands and in the caves of the Kamenjak nature park. The duration of the snorkelling may be adapted to the wishes of the participants, taking into account the season and sea temperature. You will visit at least one uninhabited island, snorkel in the caves and discover the underwater flora and fauna of the Medulin archipelago. The tour guide will set the tempo of the excursion always bearing in mind the safety conditions and the comfort limits of the group.

The half-day excursion includes biking along the bicycle trail on the GornjiKamenjak, a stop and visit at the Dino Park and its dinosaur footprints, swimming at secluded beaches, riding along the single trails on DonjiKamenjak and a lunch at the Safari Bar. The pace of the excursion is decided by the guide with the aim to make this a safe and practicable experience for everyone present. The distance covered is of about 30 km.

Sunset Tour A bike ride at sunset can be an unforgettable experience. Riding on a beautiful coastal path or through lush forests, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the sunset. The combination of the speed and adrenaline of cycling with the peaceful atmosphere of the sunset makes this ride ideal for relaxation and enjoying nature. Finish it with a romantic dinner or a fun night out with friends.
